What are we studying?

  • Homework: Week of May 20th - Our Student Led Conferences will be May 22nd at 8:30 am. Please let me know if an adult cannot be here for your child so I can make sure to have another adult from our building available. We will decorate our BLUE shirts on Friday for Third Grade Field Games on Tuesday (last day of school). Look for ice cream permission slip in Tuesday folders.
  • Writing- We are busy choosing pieces for our showcase portfolios and reflecting on our growth in third grade.
  • Reading - Mrs. Forseth is giving us free time to do extended reading into one of the genres we have studied in depth this year.
  • MATH- We've mastered Third Grade content, so Mrs. Forseth is giving us a peek into what we will learn next year in fourth grade!

This week

Visit edmodo because there are questions on there for you to answer. This week we are doing our 5's for our ice cream challenge. This week we are learning about plants. What did you pick to plant? We are also researching notable people.Notable means someone who is remarkable,memorable,creative and inventive.Some of us are having a hard time finding things to put in our chart.We also had map testing this week.It had 43 questions.Some of us are trying to be on the energy team.What plant did you plant?Your possible answer choices are tomato,marigold,sunflower,and cosmos.

Fun projects

This week we have been doing a lot of fun projects.We are learning about notable people.We are now filling in our 1800s pannel  in our time line. AL is going to teach us about something very cool. AB is going to teach us a new game next week.We are watching a long video about the 1800s.What are you doing this weekend?
